The episode originally aired in the US 18 November 1996.
The immortal Highlander Duncan McCloud is chased by three young men, claiming to be angels. In reality, they are three young immortals who have been duped by one of McCloud's enemies, Larca, who have sought out the three young men and killed them. He made sure he was there when they woke up, claimed to be God and being the one who revived them and never told them the real facts about being an immortal.
His hate for McCloud is because McCloud unwittingly brought disease to the Indian village where he had set up himself as a god to be worshipped.
Unfortunately, Luke fails his "God", and is beheaded as punishment.
