- in TV series Jeremiah, 7 June 2002, episode 1x15, Ring of Truth - as Gregory, a man who has lost his elephant
On his travels, Jeremiah meets Polly, a young woman working in a House of Pleasure. Afterwards they get to talking and she tells him her only regret is giving up her daughter to Gregory, the child's father. Gregory works in a circus which is currently camped close by. Jeremiah takes Polly to meet her daughter again, but Gregory has told his daughter that her mother is dead. Meanwhile Gregory has lost the main attraction of the circus, an elephant. It just so happens that Jeremiah has seen the creature (but thought it was an illusion due to having ingested a hallucinogenic mushroom), and he helps Gregory find it again. After their triumphant return with the elephant, Gregory agrees to let Polly stay at the circus to try to form a relationship with her daughter.
Steve has mentioned riding Tai the Elephant as the most memorable of the highlights of his career, so I think we definitely needed pictures of that. The grinning from ear to ear wasn't acting.
